The ‘Make A Difference’ Depot is a unique space stocked with donated essentials like clothing, school supplies, hygiene products, and more!
This unique space is open to all DDSB educators during the school year to provide kids with what they need, whenever they need them.

WHAT'S IN OUR DEPOT
The Nutrition Station
Perishable and non-perishable food items to help support families experiencing food insecurity. Nutritional Snacks are provided to students throughout the day to enhance breakfast programs

The Resource Program
Secures various donations from companies who have overstock items such as: fabric, containers, crafting materials, and boxes. These materials are available FREE of charge to DDSB staff who can repurpose them inside classrooms.

The Starfish Store
Helps support students by ensuring they have what they need to be successful with FREE brand new items such as: clothing & shoes, well-Being and personal hygiene products, school supplies, books, and more!

The depot shelves get filled through the support and generosity of IDLF’s community of supporters and donors like you! Thank you for believing in our vision of tomorrow’s made brighter and for believing in the success of DDSB students.
How Can I Access Depot Support
The Depot supports can be accessed through DDSB educators. If you are in need of some support, reach out to the educators in your local school community who can access the Depot on student’s behalf.
The Make A Difference Depot is open to all DDSB STAFF Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00AM - 5:00PM During The School Year
How Can I Support The Depot
There are a few ways to support the depot! You can donate food directly to the depot, financially donate at our donation page, or you can follow us on social media and spread the word to your friends, family, and neighbours!
